What If God Gave You Three Wishes?
Inside: You do know that God already gave you
more than three wishes, right?
He wants to fulfill your every desire!
So, what if He appeared to you tonight in your dreams and was willing to grant your deepest aspirations. What if God specifically gave you three wishes, where would you start?
My guess is it might be something personal.
You know what they always advise you to do on an airplane, “Put the oxygen mask on yourself first before you try to help someone else.”
Would you spend your second wish on the loved one who needs it most?
And what about the third; there’s that old cliche you always hear from a beauty contestant. And man, don’t we need it now more than ever, world peace!
Please, someone pick world peace!

The cool thing is that with God,
you have unlimited requests!
And prayer requests work a whole lot better than wishes.
The Bible actually says,
“You don’t have the things you want
because you don’t pray for them!”
(James 4:2, GOD’S WORD Translation)
Honestly, how often do we even ask God for what we want?
My guess is that it’s not nearly as often as we have a need.
And do you know what?
I bet we don’t ask
as often as God wants us to!
I’m serious!
Do you know how much God loves you?
Whenever I speak or I write, I often ask Him, “God, what is it You want me to say?”
And over and over, as if for the first time, He says, “Make sure . . .”
I lean in, curious, totally forgetting what He’s said to me the last twenty times that I asked. “Make sure of what?”
“Make sure you tell them,” He pauses for effect, “that I love them.”
I don’t think you get how much
God. Loves. You!! ❤️
Maybe you’ve thought like I used to . . .
. . . that we had a limited number of prayer requests.
You know, that at a certain point God would throw up His hands and nod His head, treat us like a person might after we’ve come to them too many times for help.
Like with these cookies in the bowl, I thought that if I prayed for everything I wanted that I’d soon run out of favor!
But that’s not the way it works with God.
Nope, He loves you and He wants to fulfill your wildest dreams. He gave them to you!
The Bible says,
- “Ask, and the gift is yours.” (Matthew 7:7, TPT)”
- God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others.” (2 Corinthians 9:8, CEV)
- “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4, NIV)
- “We are certain God will hear our prayers when we ask for what pleases him. And if we know God listens when we pray, we are sure our prayers have already been answered.” (John 5:14-15 CEV)
Does that mean you can have anything you want?
God loves us way too much to do that. Think about some of the things you’ve asked for, would those things have been for your best?
If we are being honest with ourselves, maybe not, right?
The Bible says, “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives” (James 4:3,NIV).
And it also says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28, NIV)
God has the wisdom to nurture us better than anyone ever has.
So, don’t hold back! ☺️
Bring ALL your prayer requests to God
because He will take care of everything
in ways that often surprise you!
Dear God,
Thank You
so very much
for listening to
every single one
of our prayers
and loving us enough
to answer them
in our best interest!
