Help! I Need the Powerful Prayer for Comfort and Peace Now

Do you feel like you can’t do this anymore? You can’t handle the stress or the way your body feels so full of angst all the time. You’ve tried your best and you’re just done, but you can’t be . . . you need the POWERFUL prayer for comfort and peace in difficult situations.

And I have got one for you that has worked for me EVERY time!

How can I make those promises?

How can I promise that this is THE prayer for comfort and peace? And that it is powerful?

I can do it
because I’m doing it through a promise from God
to you. ❤️

And I know this might sound weird . . .

. . . but I hear God talk to me.

When I hang out with God, I find peace and get the answers I need. So, I’m going to share my conversation with Him and pray that He uses it to help you do that, too, if you want.

And even though I’ve done this hundreds of times before, I still get attacked with thoughts like “I’m doing it wrong.” And “I don’t have all the answers. Why am I writing a prayer to share?”

I’m sharing the powerful prayer for comfort and peace in difficult situations because I’m in the middle of one right now. I don’t have answers, but God does. So I’m going to trust Him to do what only He can.

And I invite you to list the thoughts attacking you, too.

Do you know why?

Because I don’t always understand that my thinking isn’t true until God shows me the truth. It’s wild, but often that truth speaks directly against a lie I’ve been believing and puts rebar in me.

And it’s not just that I recognize a lie, but the truth resonates.

It’s an aha moment!

It’s one of the ways God gives me a sword to fight back.

So, are you ready?

Let’s do this!

Me: God, am I doing this wrong? You know, sharing this prayer? It sounds funny when we write it out like this. But I am being attacked!

God: Do you know why? Because you’re doing what I asked you to do and evil doesn’t like that I’m going to use this powerfully in every person’s live who tries it.

Me: Thank You, God! I hate when evil messes with us.

God: I know you, your heart, and your motivation. Not only that, but I know your capabilities and your hesitations. I know how you do things. And that’s why I asked you to do this.

I also know every person who will read this. I love them and I want to chat with them, too. Not everyone has conversations with Me. Not everyone believes it’s Me talking to them. Some find it strange and refuse to try it.

I want you to show them how.

So, no, you’re not doing this wrong. But even if you were, I could still work through it.

Now, take what you’re experiencing and use it to write a prayer.

A powerful prayer for comfort and peace in difficult situations.

In this precursor to THE powerful prayer for comfort and peace, share your heart. Go ahead and get everything off your chest. It feels good and you can share anything with God. He can take it. ?

God,

I don’t know where else to turn . . . (Go ahead, just unload. It’s okay. You can be as messy as you need to be.)

I’m so grateful that You know every detail of all these circumstances—all of our relationships, conversations, emotions, our history, and the intricate web it all weaves making peace seem impossible.

Thank You that it’s not too much for You. You can handle it all.

Now, I know, when you need THE powerful prayer for comfort and peace in difficult situations . . .

. . . this next part sounds crazy.

But this is it. This is THE prayer that ALWAYS works, every time!

When a friend first gave me a copy of this Bible verse, I wasn’t in a good place. I thought she was nuts. But I decided to give it a try because I was desperate.

Are you ready?

This, this IS the most powerful prayer for difficult situations that I know of!

I know, the last thing you feel like doing at a time like this is rejoicing. But because it works, it’s become one of my go-to’s. Do you want to try it? Let’s do it!

  1. Since God tells us to rejoice, we can! I know it doesn’t make sense when you feel like this, but you can trust Him even though you don’t feel like it. And you know those times you get a song stuck in your mind? Here’s where you can use that to your advantage! Here’s one or another. If you want, you can make one up.
  2. Next, try being gentle WITH GOD. It’s different from doing it on your own.
  3. Since you’ve called on Him, God is near. So, He’ll empower you.
  4. Because of what the verse says, you can choose to give God your anxiety. Thank Him for taking it because you don’t want it, right?
  5. Now, trust. It’s not always easy, but God will guard your heart and mind.

And if you stop to listen, you can hear God tell you that He loves you! He does, you know, He reallyreallyreally loves you!

More than anyone else ever could.

God: Do you trust Me?

Me: I’m trying, but You know all the places where I struggle.

God: Let me hear you say it:

It helps to say these out loud. You might even want to write out the words so you can repeat them every time you need to hear them.

Need more?

When I need extra, I dig through the Bible for more promises. Then I make a list of the things God shows me. And when I really want to get them deep inside me so I never forget, I record that list. I own each of the promises, like I did here.

That’s how I get all those thoughts in my head to stop harassing me. ❤️
